Tom Jackson just returned from a teaching trip to Expolit 2009 in Miami, Florida. Expolit is an annual international Christian convention for the Hispanic community.

Along with numerous speakers, workshop leaders, musicians, and more, Tom was able to present two sessions to Hispanic artists about the importance of the live show.

His class, “The 4 Most Important Things…” gave artists the opportunity to learn the essentials of making an emotional connection with their audience. Tom also taught a session on “Making A Living” in the music business.

In addition, Tom presented information on one of the newest charities he works with, Latin America ChildCare. Just in the beginning stages of its artist program, LACC is looking forward to the possibility of partnering with some of the artists Tom met at the event.

While at Expolit, Tom was interviewed by several magazines and radio stations. One of those interviews was with Zapata Productions, Puerto Rico’s premier music promotion and production company.

Lang Bliss has been added to the Tom Jackson Productions team of Live Music Producers. As the demand for Tom’s Live Music Methods increases, the need for certified, trained associates such as Lang continues to grow.

Long time friend and colleague of Tom Jackson, Lang Bliss is a Nashville-area drummer/producer/songwriter/arranger. He has worked with Alex Harvey, Michael W. Smith, Shaun Groves, Eric Silver (Donna Summer, Cyndi Lauper, Diamond Rio), Bob Halligan (Ceili Rain, Michael Bolton, Cher, Kathy Mattea, Rebecca St. James) and more.

In addition to Lang, the Tom Jackson Productions certified Live Music Producers team includes Ali Anderson in the Seattle area, Kevin Pauls in Toronto, plus Amy Wolter, also based out of the Nashville area.

Besides working one-on-one with artists, each of the Live Music Producers offer video critiques, speaking sessions and classes at seminars and workshops, and they occasionally help Tom Jackson with the numerous workshops and hands-on rehearsals he continues to do.

Live Music Producers analyze an artist’s live performance and provide specific and personal guidance on how to improve their skills and performance without changing the artist. Tom Jackson’s team re-arranges artists’ songs to work better live, create set lists that have maximum impact, build confidence and communication skills, and help artists with speaking to an audience.
